<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grommet which may be installed and removed easily even at the too narrow area to insert a hand. SOLUTION: This grommet 1 is composed of a grommet body 2 composed of a soft-elastic material provided at the external surface of a substrate with a harness inserting cylinder 5 to hold a wire harness W, a water-proof rip 6 ensuring water-tight characteristic at the front end surface of the substrate 4, and an annular recessed portion 8 at the internal circumferential surface of the substrate 4; and a lock member 3 composed of a hard-elastic material provided with an engaging portion 13 of which circumferential wall 12 is erected at the internal diameter part of an annular flange 11 engaged with the annular recessed portion 8 and includes an engaging pawl 14 at the front end of the circumferential wall. The lock member 3 is extended from the end of the engaging portion 13, and is provided with a lever portion 15 which is bent in the internal direction when the end portion is pushed in the internal direction. The grommet body 2 is provided at the external surface of the substrate 4 with a canceling hole 7 for inserting a jig located between the end part of the lever portion 15 and the internal wall surface of the flange 11.</p> |
