<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensor of which the circuit can be manufactured at low cost and easily and airtightly sealed. SOLUTION: An oscillator 6 using a plane-mounting-type Gunn diode 6a, a transmitting antenna 8 for radiating the output of the oscillator 6 as radio waves, a receiving antenna 9 for receiving reflected radio waves, and a mixer circuit 7 using a plane-mounting-type diode 7a for mixing input from the receiving antenna 9 with part of the output of the oscillator 6 are formed in the same plane of the dielectric substrate 1. The dielectric substrate 1 is housed in a recessed part of a housing 2 and airtightly sealed by covering the recessed part with a lid 3 and gluing both to each other. A pattern 11 for shaping the radiation distribution of radio waves is formed in the lid 3 through the use of a conductive membrane.</p> |
