PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manage removable media by an easily memorable local media ID whose number of digits is small, not by a media ID preliminarily set whose number of digits is large. SOLUTION: A media ID preliminarily recorded in a removable media mounted on a media processor is read from the removable media, and whether or not a local media ID for allowing a user to personally perform media management is applied corresponding to the media ID read from the removable media is judged. Then, when it is judged that the local media ID is not applied, the local media is applied corresponding to the media ID, and the user is informed that the local media ID is applied to the removable media, and message display to urge the personal management of the removable media with the local media ID is performed. |
