PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber having a lens which is excellent in workability, by which high working precision is obtained and which has excellent optical coupling efficiency to an elliptic mode light beam. SOLUTION: A curved surface 22 at the tip end of the optical fiber having the lens is finished by laser beam machining. |
