PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine having a display control device for controlling the variable display of a display device according to a display control command from a game control device, and capable of appropriately outputting a variation signal indicative of the continuation of the variable display. SOLUTION: In the game machine 1, a variation start command for directing the start of the variable display of the variable display device 8 and a variation stop command for directing the stop of the variable display are transmitted from the game control device 100 to the display control device 350 and the variation signal which is activated upon reception of the variation start command and deactivated upon reception of the variation stop command is transmitted from the display control device 350. If the variation start command is received while the variation signal is being output, the variation signal is temporarily deactivated over a time interval and then activated again. The variation start command, if received before the elapse of the expected time during which variation continues, is not effective. |
