PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-transfer recording medium which is useful to obtain so-called mat images, wherein the glossiness of printed images is low, and in addition, is useful to obtain the mat images being excellent in abrasion- resistance. SOLUTION: For this heat-transfer recording medium, a mat layer containing silica and a heat-transferring ink layer are provided on a supporting body in order. In such a heat-transfer recording medium, the silica in the mat layer is transferred by 10% or more into an image after the transfer. Alternatively, the mat layer is formed by using a coating liquid of which the degree of dispersion measured by JIS K 5400 4.7.1 is 30 to 100 μm. |
