A biomaterial immobilization carrier enclosing chip; a biomaterial immobilization carrier treating apparatus; and a method of treating therefor. It is intended to avoid the need of suction control and adsorption control for accommodating and retaining of the carrier in a container of chip form, to simplify complex reaction treatment and to easily carry out treatment of biomaterial immobilization carrier through small-scale apparatus structuring. There is provided a biomaterial immobilization carrier enclosing chip, comprising a container of chip form equipped with an opening for fitting fittable to a nozzle for gas suction or discharge and a port capable of fluid inflow or outflow accompanying the gas suction or discharge, the container of chip form having a narrow tube smaller than the nozzle; a carrier of configuration or size capable of passage through the port, the carrier having predetermined multiple different positions identifiable from outside at which given biomaterials are immobilized or can be immobilized; and a hermetic insertion part fitted to the container of chip form at which the carrier is hermetically inserted in the narrow tube in the state of being contactable with the fluid having inflowed in the narrow tube from the port. |
