<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal device enabling a network manager to easily and accurately grasp the number of printing sheets in a predetermined time period by providing a timer means even in a terminal device (facsimile device) connected to a network. <P>SOLUTION: The terminal device is provided with a communication means capable of transmitting/receiving image data to/from a central device, a means for forming an image on the basis of the received image data, and a printing means for printing the formed image. The device is provided with a number of sheet accumulating means for accumulating the number of printed sheets, a timer means, a means for storing an accumulation value of the number of printed sheets at a predetermined time point when the timer means detects the predetermined time point and setting the accumulation value of the number of sheet accumulating means at zero, and a transmitting means for transmitting the stored accumulating value of the number of printed sheets to the central device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
