SCAN-SKEW CONTROL METHOD AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS WITH THE SAME

A skew control method of a scan image and a skew-controllable image forming apparatus are provided to reduce waste of the unnecessary paper and time. When the setting of the tolerance range is completed(S1), the paper is placed on a glass plate and then the paper image scan command is inputted by a user(S2). A controller receives the scan command, drives a scan member and scans the image of the paper(S3). The control member compares the previously stored recognition pattern with the scanned image and confirms the difference of the recognition pattern(S4). Thereafter, a measuring member measures the length of the recognition pattern and calculates the degree of skew, that is, the inclination(S5).
