A clamp 1 comprising a threaded bolt 2 carrying a first clamping body 3 and a second clamping body 4. The first clamping body 3 is threaded on a first section 5 of the threaded bolt 2 and the second clamping body 4 is threaded on a second section 7 of the threaded bolt. The first and second sections comprise threads 6, 8 with directions that are opposite to each other. Rotation of the threaded bolt 2 in relation to the first clamping body 3 and the second clamping body 4 moves the first and second clamping bodies towards each other. A nut member 9 may be provided between the two sections for rotation of the bolt. The first 3 and second clamping members 4 may each comprise two wing plates and a back plate to form an arrowhead shape, which may taper towards the nut member 9. The clamp may be used to connect two sections of worktop 16, 17. |
