PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pinball game machine capable of preventing a fraudulence using a "dangling board" or the like. SOLUTION: An initial value counter for updating a random number counter which determines a big win is counted by an initial value counter. The value of the initial value counter is repeatedly updated during a residual time in a reset interrupt process. The residual time of the reset interrupt process is an indefinite time varying according to the state of the game and the "dangling board" cannot acquire the indefinite time. Therefore, the value of the initial value counter repeatedly updated within the indefinite time is used as the initial value for updating the random number counter so as to make it impossible for the "dangling board" to acquire the timing of the occurrence of the big win. After being updated in an internal register (S41-S44), the value of the initial value counter is saved in the initial value counter in the order from a low byte to an upper byte (S45 and S46) so that the value of the initial value counter after the update is eliminated from becoming a value outside the original update range.
