<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device which can make a suitable action for starting. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device is equipped with a controller means for controlling each element of the device and an engine means which is asked for starting by the controller means. While two or more peripherals are connected serially to the engine means, the power system is separated into the controller means and the engine means. The power is supplied to the two or more peripherals by the engine means.
