PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dynamically change the configuration of the register of a semiconductor device. SOLUTION: A register 100 of a semiconductor device 1 is provided with a normal area 101 as an address area to be used by a semiconductor device 1; a conversion area 102 as an address region where a plurality of temporary addresses corresponding to the normal area 101 are defined; and a conversion table 103 including a plurality of data streams where the address and bit position of the normal area 101 corresponding to each of the bits of the virtual address are defined. The address of the data stream corresponding to the virtual address is set in the register of the virtual address, and when the address value is included in the address area of the conversion area with respect to an instruction code including the address value and data input from the outside, the data are written in the bit position of the address of the normal area corresponding to each bit based on the data stream of the address of the conversion table set in the register shown by the address value.
