PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical waveguide holding member and an optical transceiver, for improving flexibility for connection to an external optical fiber and increasing density by arranging an optical fiber in an optical waveguide. SOLUTION: The optical transceiver 10 is equipped with an optical waveguide holding member 12a mounted on a printed board 11. Fastening parts 12B, 12D are formed in a case body of the optical waveguide holding member 12. An element side lens and a fiber side lens are integrally formed in the fastening parts 12B, 12D, respectively. The element side lens and the fiber side lens are optically connected to a photoelectric conversion element and an external optical fiber, respectively. An optical fiber 14 is held by an element side holder 15 and a fiber side holder 16 and is mounted on the case body of the optical waveguide holding member 12 by fastening the element side holder 15 and the fiber side holder 16 with the fastening parts 12, 12D, respectively.
