摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil temperature estimating method whose temperature of operating oil inside a torque converter can be precisely estimated and besides whose manufacturing cost can be reduced. SOLUTION: There is provided an oil temperature estimating method of the torque converter in an automatic transmission 10. At the step S61, an oil temperature Ts of the operating oil is detected by an oil temperature sensor 42 provided in a circulatory circuit of the operating oil of the torque converter 12. At the step S66, a calorific value per unit time in the torque converter 12 is calculated. Besides, at steps S67, S68, a difference between oil temperatures of an operating oil inflowing to the torque converter 12 and that outflowing therefrom is multiplied by a slip factor S that is a function between a given preset value B and slip duration of the torque converter 12 to calculate a heat dissipation amount per unit time in the torque converter 12. Further, at the step S69, an estimated oil temperature T of the torque converter 12 is calculated from the calorific value and the heat dissipation amount. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
