An electrical stimulation system for treating hypotension of a patient having bone marrow damage and a method of treating hypotension. This electrical stimulation system is characterized by comprising a blood pressure measurement unit whereby the blood pressure of a subject is continuously measured, a current application unit whereby an electrical current is intermittently applied to the skin of the subject, and a controlling unit whereby the above-described current application unit is driven to maintain the blood pressure at the target level when the blood pressure becomes lower than the target blood pressure.
