<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protecting cover for protecting a distribution portion at the projected corner or internal corner of a wiring and piping material, wherein a base can be refixed without removing all machine screws, after fixed with the machine screws. <P>SOLUTION: In order to connect two straight pipe portion protecting covers approximately perpendicular to each other which protect two straight pipe portions of a cold and hot water supply pipe distributed along wall faces approximately perpendicular to each other, the projected corner pipe portion protecting cover has connection ports formed at both ends and a storage space for storing and protecting an projected corner pipe portion of the cold and hot water supply pipe. It comprises the L-shaped base V<SB>1</SB>having two base plate portions 1, 2 perpendicular to each other fixed to the wall faces W<SB>1</SB>, W<SB>2</SB>constituting an projected corner portion N<SB>1</SB>with machine screws B, and a similarly L-shaped cover to be separatively locked to the base V<SB>1</SB>in the state of covering the ends of the straight pipe portion protecting covers.
