1. A connector for optically connecting an optical fiber, the connector comprising:
a fiber attachment path in which at least a part thereof has a height less than an outer diameter of the optical fiber; and a light-direction changing section provided at an end of the fiber attachment path, wherein the fiber attachment path is configured using a depression section, the depression section including a protruding section, wherein the protruding section is disposed inside the depression section, and wherein a surface of the protruding section forms the light-direction changing section, wherein the optical fiber includes a core wire and an overlayer covering the core wire, and the fiber attachment path is configured to flatten the overlayer of the optical fiber. |
