PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve retrieval efficiency when retrieving information from a plurality of files.SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus comprises: a retrieval unit 11b for retrieving a file 13a satisfying a requested retrieval condition on the basis of item information 12a obtained by associating items with the number of files including the items, and file information 12c indicating whether or not each of the files 13a includes each item; and a deletion unit 11c for, upon receipt of a deletion request of the file 13a, updating the number of files of the items included in the file 13a of a deletion target related to the item information 12a, and, when the number of files becomes 0, deleting the item whose number of files becomes 0 and the number of files including the item from the item information 12a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
