Disclosed is a method for displaying an object by an electronic device. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the method for displaying an object comprises the following steps of: overlapping a plurality of second objects obtained by changing an attribute of a first object in a direction corresponding to a location of a light source; displaying the plurality of overlapped second objects; and displaying the first object on the plurality of overlapped second objects. Therefore, the method can provide a usage environment having a realistic feeling to a user.
