PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a zoom lens which offers a wide view angle, reduced aberration variation while focusing, and high optical performance over an entire object distance range.SOLUTION: A zoom lens has a plurality of lens groups configured such that a distance between each pair of adjacent lens groups changes while zooming. A lens group BR located on the most image-side in the zoom lens is configured to move in an optical axis direction while focusing. A lens element A disposed next to the lens group BR on the object side has refractive power of a sign opposite that of refractive power of the lens group BR, and comprises a single lens or a cemented lens. A distance di between a most image-side surface of the lens element A and an image plane at the wide-angle end, a distance df between the most image-side surface of the lens element A and a most object-side surface of the lens group BR at the wide-angle end, and a focal length fw of the entire system at the wide-angle end are each set appropriately.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
