PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer part contamination prevention device that, even when an adhesive leaks from a label sheet, can suppress transfer of the leaked adhesive to a transfer part, and an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: A transfer part contamination prevention device comprises: a powder storage part that is provided on the upstream side in a sheet conveyance direction with respect to a transfer part that transfers a toner image onto a sheet including an adhesive layer including an adhesive between a base material layer and a release layer, and can retain or guide powder in the vicinity of the ends of the sheet in a sheet width direction orthogonal to the sheet conveyance direction; and a powder adhesion promotion part that promotes adhesion of the powder in the powder storage part to the ends in the width direction of the sheet.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
