PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer capable of suppressing maintenance failure of a head by reducing the load to a wiper.SOLUTION: The printer includes: a head unit having a nozzle face; a wiper 51 which has a plurality of holes 501 penetrating toward a first direction and wipes the nozzle face by a wiper end part 511 contacting the nozzle face; a support member 32 which is arranged in the first direction side of the wiper 51 and supports the wiper 51; a regulation member 41 arranged in the left side of the wiper 51; and a plurality of insertion members 391 which extend to the first direction between the support member 32 and the regulation member 41 and are respectively inserted to the plurality of holes 501 so as to move. The regulation member 41 comprises a first wall part 42 extending to a third direction side more than the wiper end part 511 and a plurality of pressing pieces 401 extending to the wiper 51 from an end of the first wall part 42 in the side opposite to the third direction. The plurality of pressing pieces 401 keep the wiper 51 in a state of being elastically deformed by pressing the wiper 51.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
