<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording material which is excellent in inkjet recordability and ink absorbency, which can obtain glossiness and image clarity, comparable to those of photographic paper for silver halide photography, and which is free from ruggedness. <P>SOLUTION: This inkjet recording material, wherein an under layer, an ink absorbing layer and a gloss development layer, mainly composed of a pigment and an adhesive, are sequentially laminated on a paper base material, is characterized as follows: fired kaolin is contained as a main component in the pigment of the under layer; the pigment with oil absorption 2-5 times as great as fired kaolin is contained as a main component in the porous pigment of the ink absorbing layer; inorganic ultrafine particles with a mean particle diameter of 500 nm or less is contained as a main component in the pigment of the gloss developing layer; and the gloss developing layer is formed by a cast treatment method. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
