PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation apparatus and an image formation program capable of suppressing the fluctuation in the temperature of a recording medium even when the fluctuations in the color and printing rate are large in comparison to a case where the temperature of the recording medium is controlled to be constant without considering the fluctuations in the color and printing rate.SOLUTION: An image formation apparatus comprises: formation means which forms an image on a recording medium; drying means which includes an adjustment part for adjusting the dry strength and dries the recording medium on which the image is formed; specification means which specifies a low printing region where the printing rate becomes relatively low in image formation onto the recording medium; detection means which detects a plurality of temperatures at a plurality of detection points on the surface of the recording medium conveyed while being dried by the drying means; calculation means which calculates the correction temperature of the recording medium by correcting the representative value of the temperature included in the low printing region of the plurality of temperatures detected by the detection means by using the printing rate and color information of the low printing region; and control means which controls the adjustment part so that the temperature of the recording medium is within a prescribed range by using the correction temperature.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
