PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ozone generation device in which ozone is generated efficiently.SOLUTION: An ozone generation device 1 includes: a piezoelectric body plate 11; and a tabular piezoelectric transformer 10 which has input electrodes 12A, 12B, which are formed on the piezoelectric body plate 11, and output electrodes 13A, 13B, which are formed on the piezoelectric body plate, so that the boosted voltage of the voltage to be applied to the input electrode 12A or 12B is shown on the output electrode 13A or 13B. The output electrodes 13A, 13B are formed respectively on both of the principal surfaces of the central part of the piezoelectric body plate 11. The input electrodes 12A, 12B are formed respectively on both of the principal surfaces of regions for surrounding the central part of the piezoelectric body plate 11. A discharge electrode 16A or 16B is arranged oppositely to the output electrode 13A or 13B. A dielectric (a housing 20) is arranged between the output electrode 13A or 13B and the discharge electrode 16A or 16B.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
