A method for modification of starches involves mixing starch solution with amine derivatives. As amine derivatives the solution of urotropine in water is taken. At that it is preliminarily treated with hydrochloric acid and calculated amount of ammonium chloride. In mixing the starch is added in the form of suspension thereof in the cold water.
