<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a useful and efficient method for producing a recording medium which has high surface luster and is supported with paper, sheet, film, and cloth for use in various printing modes by a method for adhering an ink composition to a recording medium, in recording modes by using a writing tool such as a pen, or in heat-sensitive recoding modes for using heat to color an ink composition, and further for producing an inkjet recording medium which is excellent in ink absorption, surface luster, and image quality. <P>SOLUTION: The subject coating solution has a viscosity at 40°C of 20 mPa s or more and 300 mPa s or less and that at 25°C of 10,000 mPa s or more; and the method for producing the recording medium comprises using the coating solution. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
