摘要 PURPOSE:To provide a high quality superconducting material nearly free from impurities and having a high superconductivity transition temp., a high volume fraction of a superconductor and satisfactory characteristics as a superconducting material by synthesis without using a special ultrahigh pressure synthesizing apparatus, to provide a superconducting material having lower specific gravity than a known copper oxide superconductor and high safety because of no poisonous starting material used and inhibiting oxygen from escape at high temp. and to provide a superconducting material having excellent water resistance and hardly affected by water and steam. CONSTITUTION:This metal oxide material has a compsn. represented by a formula LnaSrb Cu3-xMxOc (where 2.7<=a+b<=3.3, 0.8<=a<=1.2, 6<=C<=9, 0.05<=x<=0.7, Ln is one or more kinds of elements or an atomic group selected among Y and Lanthanoids, and M is one or more kinds of elements or an atomic group selected among Ti, V, Ga, Ge, Mo, W and Re).
