PURPOSE:To form a rubber crawler into a unit, to prevent bending rupture and dislocation of a steel cord, and to facilitate repair in case of breakage. CONSTITUTION:In a rubber crawler unit, cores 17 laterally arranged at intervals of a specified distance in a longitudinal direction and a steel cord train 14 arranged throughout the overall length of a belt-like rubber resilient substance are embedded in a belt-like rubber resilient substance 16 of a unit length. Mounting plates 10 additionally functioned as respective cores are embedded in the one end part of the unit and on the outer peripheral side of the steel cord train and at the other end part thereof and on the inner peripheral side of the steel cord train. The mounting plate has the tip side having a slope 11 extending in the opposite direction to that of the steel cord train. The steel cord train end is arranged along the slope and the mounting plate and the steel cord are stuck together in integral formation by means of an adhesive. |
