PURPOSE:To automatically generate a brake force by providing two memory means which store the set states of switches and levers at a point of time when a brake force is generated by means of a brake automatic generating means and a point of time when the generation of the brake force is stopped. CONSTITUTION:At a step S42, the set states of switches and levers at a present point of time are read. At a step S44, the set states of the switches and the levers already read at a step S31 and at a point of time when brake automatic brake control operation is started are read from a memory. At a step S46, the two set states are compared with each other and it is decided whether the two set states coincide with each other. When it is decided at the step S46 that the two set states coincide with each other, the two set states coincide with each other and when it is decided that all the switches and the levers are not switched during automatic brake control operation, a series of control procedures is completed.
