COPPER AND COPPER ALLOY PLATE PHOTOGRAPH AND ITS PRODUCTION

PURPOSE:To produce a copper and copper alloy plate photograph having various metal colors and excellent in adhesion strength and weather resistance. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive film of photosensitive acryl resin is applied on a pure copper plate or a copper alloy plate containing >55wt.% copper. An original picture film produced by usual monochromatic photography or color photography in 40-300 mesh-line range is laminated on the plate and exposed. The copper or copper alloy plate is further developed, treated to harden the film at 150-400 deg.C, coated with benzotriazol or its deriv. having 0.0005-0.2wt.% concn., and further coating with an org. film or mixture of organic material. Thus, the copper and copper alloy plate photograph is produced.
