<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen manufacturing apparatus of which the temperature of combustion catalyst path can be made even. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus is provided with a reforming catalyst path 7 which has a reforming catalyst and produces a reformed gas by being fed with a fuel to be reformed, and a combustion catalyst path 6 which is constituted so as to be superposed on the reforming catalyst path 7 and has a combustion and coat region 16 coated with a combustion catalyst.
