PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the unnecessary power consumption of a computer without being aware of it by controlling the execution/non-execution of a power saving function of a computer by radio. SOLUTION: A user stands with a portable information device 41 in both hands and a shoulder bag 43 storing a note-sized PC 42 over the shoulder. The user performs various processing by utilizing radio communication with the PC 42 while operating a user operating part 15 (pen 15a, ON/OFF button 15b, Sus/Res button 15c, a freeze button 15d, etc.). When the user selects resume with the button 15c of the device 41, a radio wave representing selection information is transmitted from an antenna 3, it is received by an antenna 23 of the PC 42 and the PC 42 becomes a resume state. Also, when the user selects suspend with the button 15c, the PC 42 becomes a suspend state according to the transmission and receiving of the same radio wave. |
