<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner excellent in low-temperature fixability, anti-hot-offset properties and glossiness and a polyester resin composition for the toner, and to provide a toner suitable for a low to medium speed printer with ≥200 mm/s, suitable preferably for a medium speed printer with ≥300 mm/s, and suitable particularly preferably for a high speed printer with ≥400 mm/s and a polyester resin composition for the toner. <P>SOLUTION: The polyester resin composition for the toner comprises 45-80 mass% of a polyester resin composition (1) containing 0.1-5 mass% of a release agent component whose melting point is 60-100°C and having a softening temperature of 130-180°C and a glass transition temperature of 40-70°C, and 20-55 mass% of a polyester resin (2) having a softening temperature of ≤100°C, a glass transition temperature of ≥50°C and a weight average molecular weight of 3,000-8,000 and containing ≤1 mass% of a tetrahydrofuran-insoluble component. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
