The banding apparatus includes a clamping device which has a rocker (37) opposite a clamping wheel (30) and turning about a rocker axis (38). The clamping wheel and the rocker can be moved towards each other. The band can be clamped between the rocker and the clamping wheel. The band passes round the clamping wheel for a large angle ( alpha ). |
