SOLUTION: An IRD 1 receives the digital satellite broadcast and outputs a desired satellite broadcast to a television receiver 6. The selection is possible between a transport packet of an MPEG and the PCM audio data on a broadcast channel to the interface of the IEEE1394 bus. Thus, it is possible to deal with even an undefined digital device that is connected to the IEEE1394 bus.
