<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To raise the sound quality at reproducing of music in a portable terminal. <P>SOLUTION: The portable terminal has a structure having a display 4 on the upside of a frame and various operating keys 7-15, 19 on the underside of the frame. Across the frequently usable four-way key 19 disposed on the underside of the frame, a plurality of speakers 16, 17 are grouped into two sets disposed on both sides of the same frame surface. This improves the stereophonic effect and the surround effect of a music produced from the speakers 16, 17 that a user recognizes owing to the isolation of sounds from the speakers 16, 17 by his/her finger, utilizing the increase of the possibility that the user holds his/her finger laid on the four-way key 19 during using the portable terminal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
