<p>A tool holder mounting structure capable of rigidly mounting a tool holder into the spindle of a machine tool, having a simple structure, and allowing to use a general-purpose tool holder, comprising a holder mounting hole (20) formed at the tip portion of the spindle (1), an annular engaging lock member (30) installed in the holder mounting hole (20) movably in axial direction and having a tapered engaging hole (31) allowing the shank part (10) of the tool holder (3) to be fitted thereto, and a leaf spring (40) strongly and elastically energizing the engaging lock member (30) in axial outer direction, wherein the shank part (10) of the tool holder (3) is engaged with the tapered engaging hole (31) of the engaging lock member (30), and the shank part (10) of the tool holder (3) is fixed strongly to the spindle (1) through the engaging lock member (30).</p> |
