PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lame-mode crystal vibrator, in which a frequency change is small over a wide temperature range and a vibration energy loss is small. SOLUTION: The vibrator is formed from a crystal plate cut in the direction, with which an X crystal sheet is rotated from 36.5 deg. to 47 deg., with y-axis as the rotary axis of rotation and is further rotated from 65 deg. to 85 deg., with a new axis x' of x-axis as a rotary axis. Besides, for the crystal vibrator, a vibrating part, a supporting frame and a mount part are formed integrally, so that the vibrating part can be connected via two connecting parts to the supporting frame and the mount part. As a result, the lame-mode crystal vibrator of small equivalent serial resistance R1 is provided.
