<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an instantaneous electric water heater, permitting the quick approach of a supplying hot-water temperature to a set temperature after the starting of heating control or the changing of a flow rate or the set temperature and capable of detecting correctly whether a trouble is caused or not when faulty heating due to the trouble of a heat exchanger or the abnormality of amount of water due to the trouble of a pipeline route is caused. SOLUTION: A heating amount comparison operating means 72 for operating a comparison between a necessary heating amount obtained by a necessary heating amount operating means 70 and an actual heating amount obtained by an actual heating amount operating means 71 is provided while the necessary heating amount operating means 70 corrects the amount of heating employing a heating amount comparing value obtained by the heating amount comparison operating means 72 and a flow rate limiting means 78 corrects a flow rate limit amount employing the heating amount comparing value obtained by the heating amount comparison operating means 72. Further, a trouble judging means 77 for judging the trouble of the instantaneous electric water heater by the heating amount comparing value obtained by the heating amount comparison operating means 72 is provided.</p> |
