<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable characters, which are outputted to a recording sheet when data to be printed is rotated, to be adjusted in a correct direction, and enable an image to be printed within the recording sheet, by a simple process. <P>SOLUTION: When the recording sheet having a sheet size specified by a parameter of a sheet size specifying command which is specified by a host apparatus 1 and the recording sheet in a sheet tray are in the same direction with the length of the sheet size specifying command smaller than the width, a coordinate rotation unit 16 causes only the vector coordinate of the print data to rotate by 90 degree. When the directions of the recording sheet having the sheet size specified by the sheet size specifying command and the recording sheet of the sheet tray are different by 90 degree with the length of the sheet size specifying command smaller than the width, the rotation unit causes the vector coordinate of the print data and the coordinate of the image data to rotate by 90 degree. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
