METHOD FOR PRODUCING PHOSPHONITRILE ACID ESTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a phosphonitrile acid ester by reaction of phosphonitrile dichloride with an alkali metal arylate and/or an alkali metal alcoholate with no side reactions between the raw materials and a reaction solvent, therefore with extremely low content of by-product monochloroform. SOLUTION: The method for producing the phosphonitrile acid ester comprises carrying out a reaction between phosphonitrile dichloride and the alkali metal arylate and/or alkali metal alcoholate using a halogenated aromatic hydrocarbon as the reaction solvent under controlling the water content of the reaction system to a specific level or lower.
