PURPOSE: A washing method of a washing machine is provided to quickly maintain and repair a broken temperature sensor by outputting a sensor error display and informing a user of a failure of the temperature sensor. CONSTITUTION: A washing method of a washing machine is composed of steps for detecting the amount of the laundry received in a washing tub(S1); starting to wash the laundry by supplying the water into the washing tub according to the detected amount of the laundry(S2,S3); judging a failure of a temperature sensor for detecting the temperature of the fed water(S4); turning off the temperature sensor and an electrode sensor when the temperature sensor is broken down and displaying a sensor error on a display unit of the washing machine;(S5,S6,S7) and executing a washing course according to a pre-set standard washing algorism(S8,S9). |
