摘要

PURPOSE: Provided are liquid crystalline compound based on 4'-(2,3-difluorophenyl)-4-propyl-bicyclohexyl derivative, composition containing the same and display device comprising the composition to exhibit high phase transition temperature, low dielectric constant anisotropy and rapid response velocity. CONSTITUTION: The liquid crystalline compound is represented by the following formula 1 (wherein A has the following formula(a), R is -CNH2N+1, -O-CNH2N+1, -CO-CNH2N+1, -OCO-CNH2N+1, -CNH2N-O-CMH2M+1, -CNH2N-CO-CMH2M+1 or -CNH2N-OCO-CMH2M+1 with hydrogen substituted by at least one selected from a group consisting of heavy hydrogen and fluorine, N and M are independently integer from 1-5). The liquid crystalline composition comprises the above liquid crystalline compound in amount of 1-50 wt.% and another liquid crystalline compound based on (2,3-difluorophenyl)-4-propyl bicyclohexyl in the amount of 50-99 wt.%.
