<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure a necessary cross section of a reaction gas passage and a coolant passage in simple constitution and apply a uniform fastening load. <P>SOLUTION: A fuel cell 10 has separators 13 interposing an electrolyte membrane/electrode structure 12 between them. The separator 13 has first and second metallic plates 14, 16, and when the first and second metallic plates 14, 16 are laminated, an inlet buffer part 44 and an outlet buffer part 70b are overlapped each other in the laminating direction. A plurality of embossed parts 64a installed in the inlet buffer part 44 and a plurality of embossed parts 72b installed in the outlet buffer part 70b are set in a position not overlapped each other in the laminating direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
