<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device which is capable of realizing the uniformity of a toner density in an axial direction due to sufficient toner agitation and stable toner electrostatic charge and thereby making it possible obtain good-quality image free of image fogging and image density unevenness and an image forming apparatus using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The developing device is constituted as follows: When two-component developers G introduced by a developer partition member 39 to a toner housing section 35 side is supplied to a developer housing section 33, the developers are supplied to a developer agitating conveyance member 36b different from the developer agitating conveyance member 36a most approximate to a developer carrier 32 out of a plurality of the developer agitating conveyance members 36a and 36b.
