<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing pitch measuring method and a printing pitch measuring device applicable when measuring the printing pitch highly accurately. <P>SOLUTION: This printing pitch measuring method has a simultaneous detection process for detecting simultaneously two printed marks printed on a web separately as far as integer-fold printing pitch on the traveling route of the web by first and second mark sensors, and a detected position operation process for operating detected positions of the two printed marks and/or the print interval and/or the printing pitch based on detection signals from the first and second mark sensors acquired by simultaneous detection.
