<p>The invention relates to a crystalline form of calcium (3S)-tetrahydro-3-furanyl-(1S,2R)-3-[[(4-aminophenyl)sulfonyl]- (isobutyl)-amino]-1-benzyl-2-(phosphonooxy)propylcarbamate of formula (I), to a process for its preparation, to its use for medical purposes, and to a pharmaceutical composition comprising it. Calcium (3S)-tetrahydro-3-furanyl-(1S,2R)-3-[[(4- aminophenyl)sulfonyl]-(isobutyl)-amino]-1-benzyl-2- (phosphonooxy)propylcarbamate of formula (I) is a compound with antiviral activity and is useful for the treatment of diseases caused by retroviruses, such as HIV infections, AIDS, hepatitis B and hepatitis C, and related diseases.</p> |
