PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor controller capable of suppressing or preventing undesired low-frequency driving of a motor. SOLUTION: The controller 10 drives an electric motor with PWM control. A microcomputer 11, equipped on the controller 10, includes a current PWM control section 23 for generating a PWM signal for the PWM control using a carrier wave having a predetermined carrier wave period to be generated by a PWM carrier wave generating section 30; a sampling section 25 for sampling the current of the motor M at a predetermined sampling period; a frequency analyzing section 26 and a period determining section 27 for detecting the relation of periods between the carrier wave period and sampling period, on the basis of the sampled motor current; and a period correcting section 28 for changing the carrier wave period or the sampling period, on the basis of the deflection of the relation of periods for a predetermined reference relation.
